Mike Jr., back in 1997 when attending the Montcalm County Career Center had no clue that in November of 2015 he and his dad would own their own Autobody shop. Today, Mike does it all: State Certified, Customer Service, Writes Estimates, Orders the Parts, Works with the Adjusters, and even works out in the shop when needed.
Rebecca Patterson
Collision Estimator/Customer Service Representative
Rebecca Patterson joined the team in Feb of 2022 as the collision estimator as well as orders parts and is the representative to insurance companies on behalf of the customer. “I work for the customer, not the insurance company.”

His career began at the Kent Skills Center. Josh, loves all aspects of the process from interior to bodywork. Taking something damaged and making it look like new again.

Sawyer was hired as the detail person but is learning the in’s and out’s of the body shop in hopes of being certified. He is on his way! Sawyer is also a part of Howard City Fire Department as a cadet and volunteer.

Mike Van Wagner Sr. has been on the local Howard City Fire Department for so many years he does not remember when he started. Following in his footsteps, son and co-owner of Howard City Collision Mike Jr, is also a volunteer for the fire department.
Responding to 100 fire calls or so per year, if you stop by and there is a note on the door… you will know why.
